Trouvé, is an outdoor light fixture concept and an example of using AI (computer-generated design) for creating a lightweight strong structure. It is made from an aluminum cast using a lost 3d-printed model with inserted channels for the wiring.
The generative design takes materials, forces, manufacturing processes, etc. into account and leaves designers with tens of options to choose from. at this point picking the right one can recall similarities with what happens in objet trouvé art.
